I'm Austin Baker, owner of Baker Health Solutions. I help individuals and families under 65 find coverage that fits their budget and their care.

My Story

Why I Got Into Insurance

I grew up in Jacksonville, went to FSCJ, and still have family in Fernandina. I started my career in healthcare, helping patients recover in physical therapy in St. Pete.

Then I got injured and couldn't work. The medical bills turned into debt, and I went from helping patients to being one. That's what led me to insurance.

Now I help families understand their coverage before they need it, so they aren't caught off guard like I was.

How I Work With You

Buying your own health insurance can feel like guesswork. Prices change with your age, state, and income, and plan details are hard to compare on your own.

I start with what matters to you: your doctors, your prescriptions, and your budget. Then I put private plans and Marketplace options side by side and explain the tradeoffs in plain English.

If I can't find a plan that fits, I'll tell you, and I'll point you to where you can get help.

My Family

A Personal Connection to Care

Healthcare has been part of my family's story for years. My mom, Dyann Baker, is a nurse, and before starting Baker Health Solutions, I worked as a physical therapist assistant. That background gave me an early appreciation for how personal health decisions can be and how important it is to have someone you trust helping you understand your options.

My brother, Logan Baker, is studying business with plans to build a company of his own. Family is a big part of what motivates me to keep growing Baker Health Solutions and build a business centered on helping people, creating opportunities, and doing work I'm proud of.
